A day in the life of the T-family Temecula Family Photographer

Can I just start with this? The T-Family is LITERALLY THE COOLEST FAMILY IN THE WORLD.

      You get the title of the coolest family in the world, when you meet ALL of the following criteria.
 
             A: Everyone hangs out on the floor. All the time. Which usually includes wrestling or someone sitting on your head.
             B: Dad wears a fanny pack. On the regular.
             C: Dad and oldest son JAM OUT improv-style on the drums and the saxophone. Just because they can.
             D: There is a playhouse filled with a ball pit in the middle of the family room.
             E: They drive a 6 seater golf cart to church on Sundays. Because its close, and they roll like that.
             F: They didn't want to do 'posey' family pictures- because its not 'them'. Rather, spending a few hours acting silly and being together, are the only things they want on their walls at home.
             G: When it was time for pics of just mom and dad- they did a costume change- INTO ONESIE PAJAMAS. (hey, go big or go home, right?) Then proceeded to wrestle on the bed. Knowing that someone was photographing/videoing their every move for posterity. And they kissed. A LOT.

     I could literally go on forever about how much this family is awesome-sauce. Instead, ill just post a few (or a LOT) of sneak peek images. I just did their session this afternoon, and i can't wait to see EVERYTHING that I captured from this uber-cool family with hearts of gold, and a WHOLE LOTTA LOVE for each other.

   BTW I also did VIDEO for this family during our session today. I can't WAIT to put together a killer epic film for them. So keep your eyes out for it!

Heidi & nate engagement sneak peek! Orange County Engagement Photography

i had such a fun time with these two last weekend! we met at the historic district in San Juan Capistrano for some fun, and sweet engagement photos. They are wonderful- but a bit of an aesthetic challenge- seeing that she is barely five feet tall and he is 6'2!

 but i loved being able to capture some sweet lovin, and cant wait for their wedding in a couple of months!

Swager family sneak peek Crystal Cove Photography

This photoshoot was such an adventure!! Thank goodness for families who are game for surprises! This gorgeous family is on a short vaca from northern Ca, staying at the AMAZING Pelican Hill Resort in Crystal Cove.  We ventured right outside their bungalow to this great path and took literally TWO shots. We started to wander and find our next spot when security came and TOLD us that we had to LEAVE! Even though they were guests paying the big bucks to stay there, we were not permitted to take and professional photography. Im a pretty calm person, but I wanted to throw something at him. ARGH!

So we went back into their room, and took a few photos on their porch, inside their room next to these great big doors. But pretty soon, we ran out of options, and decided to head to the beach!

  Luckily, Crystal cove was pretty close, so after some shoeless walking, and a couple of wrong turns, we finally made it down to the sand, and spent a few more minutes trying to squeeze some great shots out of some tired kiddos who were ready to PLAY!!
  
      Thanks for much for being such a great sport, Melanie and Kevin! Hopefully we got some shots that were worth all that effort!! This is just a sneak, ill have the rest of them done in a week or two!!

i am the luckiest girl ever- have you SEEN the amazing cuteness of babies i have gotten to photograph lately? the cuteness is out of control. Heres one more quick sneak peek of baby H, in her pinterest perfect room!

meet baby josie! Only 5 days old. It took a little while for this bright eyed little girl to want to take a nap (there was just SO much excitement going on around her!)- but when she finally closed those little eyes- she was a perfect little angel!
   Hard to believe that its been over 2 years since i photographed her older sisters newborn pictures!!

I was just so excited to look through their session, i edited a few right after i imported, and couldnt stop! there are just too many gorgeous (and sweet) kiddos!  I was playing with  new matte film style with these ones- and i love how natural and organic it looks! what do YOU think?

wedding season has begun! Alexa & Matt sneak peek... San Diego Wedding photography

technically, this was my 4th wedding so far this year, but this was the first one in official wedding season! i LOVE wedding season! pretty flowers, gorgeous brides, happy families, whats not to like!

heres a sneak peek of my wedding from this last saturday. Alexa & Matt were married in the San Diego LDS Temple in the morning, then had an intimate luncheon for their family and friends in Rancho Bernardo. I have known this girl for her entire life! I even have this cute pic of her at my wedding reception (she was like 9 years old!) dancin on the dance floor. I cant believe how grown up she is!

Jeremy And Shannon- Temple Sneak Peek!

This last saturday, i had the privilege of being a part of Shannon and Jeremy's gorgeous and fun pink elegance SLASH Superhero themed wedding!! it was a blast. they are on their way to Walt Disney World for their two week honeymoon as we speak- so i thought id post a quick sneak peek from the first part of the day!
