Orange Grove Maternity Session TEMECULA MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHER

I have been itching to do a session in the Orange groves near my house for a while, and the timing finally worked out! Meet Heather and Spencer, darling little Jane, and a not-yet-named baby girl to arrive this summer! I ordered a new maternity dress, a sheer white lace one, that fit heather, and this location, to an absolute perfect T! I could not be happier with how these turned out. I hope you love them too!

Let wedding season begin... TEMECULA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Saturday, I was privileged to be a part of an unbelievable wedding with my very favorite second shooter, Ashleigh, of Ashleigh Long Photography. She needed a second, and I was happy to be there! With a GINORMOUS wedding party of over 20, and a SIXTEEN FOOT LONG TRAIN, they definitely needed all hands on deck!

It will take me a while to comb through all the amazing images, but I wanted to post a few snippets of the day here and there!Let me know what you think in the comments!

Passion Project 1- PART 2! Rolling Hills, Maternity Gown Session Temecula Maternity Photographer

So yesterday, I posted about our milk bath maternity session. While my partner and I were DROOLING over the images we had just taken, there was another knock on the door, and a second gorgeous mama was here to get glam'd up, and taken out for an adventure in the hills!

I am super lucky, that literally across the street, are breathtaking rolling hills. We had almost canceled this session, because it had been threatening rain all day- but we decided to go for it, and were so glad we did! the clouds and light literally could not have been better.

Sidenote- my editing styles are kind of all over the board with this one- i have plenty of my signature soft and airy style, but i wanted to try for some 'dark and moody' editing as well, so some of these images are kind of a hodgepodge of styles- so forgive me!

What do you think of these? Do you have some friends or co-workers who are pregnant and wanting maternity photos? If so, send them my way!!

Passion Project 1: Milkbath Maternity TEMECULA MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHER

I recently returned from WPPI (Wedding and  Portrait Photographers International) held in Las Vegas. I met with thousands of other photographers, learned new techniques, business management, networking, etc- it was fantastic! It was my 4th time going, and I can't wait to go again next year!
One of the things I took home with me as a goal was to start shooting PASSION PROJECTS. A passion project gives me the opportunity to be creative, go outside my normal comfort zone, try something new, or something that Ive wanted to do, without the pressure of having a paid clients expectations. My partner and I brainstormed some things we wanted to try, and had all kinds of fun ideas! This last Saturday our first passion project baby was undertaken! It started with a breathtakingly gorgeous soon-to-be-mama, and a milk bath filled with flowers. Here are a few of my favorites from that session at my house!

I would love to know your thoughts on these! It was such a fun creative project. As an extra tidbit of fun- here is a pullback shot of me, literally standing over Brie!

Eric & Jana Engagement . . . Laguna Beach Engagement

I spent a lot of time google-earth-ing (is that a word) the gorgeous shore of laguna beach, looking for the prettiest spots for the engagement shoot for Eric and Jana. We ended up going to the Montage, which is a spectacular resort and hotel!

There were so many spots to visit, I was totally overwhelmed! Jana really wanted to get that natural hazy sun glow of the late afternoon, so we headed right to the sand. The tide was coming in, so we had quite a few outtakes as we ran from the crashing waves! The sunset was glorious, and I have more silhouette photos than I know what to do with!

I spent some time this afternoon picking our and editing a few favorites!
